so, im sure that some of you have the exact same problem... I'm this huge fan of buffy. and my friens who didn't exactly seeing the show and don't know the story line says it's lame even though it's the best show in the world (in my opinion). did it ever happened to you? if it did, how did you dealt with it?

I have your same trouble with everyone person I know, or at least I had until I obligated my hubby to watch at least one episode... now he is caught up in it just like me
Anyway usually my friends watch me with a distant look in their eyes and think that I am crazy loving Btvs, but just because they don't bother to watch it neither once. The few, intelligent people among them, watched Ats and Btvs even before to know me and we usually have great interesting discussion about it, especially now that the new comics are arriving.
I tried to convince the other ones to watch Btvs but they don't listen me, so I just gave up in doing it, only hoping that someday they'll want give it a try and finally realize what great show they were missing.

Argh, man do I know that distant 'whatareyoutalkingabout' look people get when I mention Buffy... or Veronica Mars, or comics, or... anyway. It sucks because Buffy not only is a fantastic show, but it's themes are relevant in our lives too, it's not just a blond chick kicking ass.

Thankfully everything I like is weird, so I'm used to that look lol. I wish people would be a bit more open minded about these things, you say you're a fan of a certain TV show, movie, ect. and people jump automatically to, "Oh, they're obsessed, they probably dress up like people from space and yes I realize that was a Star Trek reference but you get what I'm saying." lol.

Yes, that always happens to me with my friends. Although, I got them, reluctantly, to watch parts of episodes. They're like, "okay...." None of them really got into it, unfortunately. It's kind if annoying I always make a Buffy/Angel reference and they just stare at me. "Shut up." It's pretty much their relationship with Buffy!

Yeah, Lexus, it really is a shame I agree with you, all the way!
