I am proud and honored to present Frozen Memories very first Fanart Challenge: "It's about Choices"
Well that pretty much sums it all up right there Every show we watch has a point in time where a character must make a big decision whether it be life altering or which way they should turn down the road, either way it affects what will happen next in their life. So in this challenge you must display the choices the character makes, whether it be the time they are making the choice of the aftermath/consequences of said choice.
Rules (because we don't want chaos do we? ) : Deadline: April 17th.
Fandoms allowed:
-Angel
-Arrested Development
-Buffy the Vampire Slayer
-Charmed
-Dead Like Me
-Desperate Housewives
-Firefly
-Gilmore Girls
-Grey's Anatomy
-Heroes
-Supernatural
-Veronica Mars
-Wonderfalls
I really only want TV shows, so I'm not gonna do movies in this challenge. I may have missed a show, so if there is one that you want to do, just PM me and ask if its okay, I will allow it if I have seen it. And FYI I won't be allowing either '24' or 'Alias' because I haven't seen them yet and am hoping to so I don't wanna be spoiler Entries: Unlimited, also you may post them as you do them because I would like to see them as they come
So, open up Photoshop or PSP, or whatever program you use and get crackin and have fun!

Oh, I didn't know anyone had started a challenge here, yay for that! Shows how much i haven't been here lol. The challenge looks great and I'll try make an entry soon xxxx
Ok, First post on the forum so be gentle. I decided to do one on the episode IWRY from Angel S1. It's when Angel goes to ask the oracles to make him the way he ways.
I think it's a great episode and full of emotion. It's a hard choice for Angel to make as he is given up everything he always wanted with Buffy especially knowing that he alone will carry the memory of the day they had. Soo here it is.
Next up is the aftermath of Buffy killing Angel to stop the end of the world. Another great episode. The image I chose is after Buffy kills Angel and all the emotions hit her.
okay, this one is from The Gift. Basically I feel that Giles' decision to kill Ben/Glory was one of the biggest made on the show. While yes, he is doing it for the greater good, he is in fact taking a human life. This decision changes not only his life, but the lives around him, the world around him, and also his character.

Okay, Dana I agreed that since it seems that people are entering this challenge lately that it shall be extended another week. But seriously folks I gotta draw the line there.
This piece is from Grey's Anatomy, 17 Seconds. It's the scene where Izzie (and Denny) makes the big decision of cutting the LVAD wire. It's my first art in a month and I'm not particularly happy with it but...meh. I think I got the message across.
Yeay, I finally got an entry together. I thought this would be easier but my muse wouldn't agree with me on the subject. Bad muse!
Anyway here's my first entry!
Entry #1 - At the end of the day she won the battle but lost the war
This is about Angel deciding to leave Buffy and go to LA. This choice had alot of effect on the characters and the fact that Angel the series was born out of this choice. The thought behind the name of this entry and the basic text is the old saying "you may have won the battle but you lost the war", and the fight against the mayor was the battle but she lost Angel, which was the war against all her friends and family.
The text at the upper right corner is quotes by Buffy and Angel.

Ooh, sorry for being late good job you gave us that extra week lol
And damn I'm so sorry Dana that I've gone and arted the same scene as you, I had seriuosly no idea you'd done that one til I just checked So sorry about that hun.
Hmm this took me ages to get looking something like but I'm pretty happy with it now. The lyrics used are by Sarah Mclachlan, I thourght they were very fitting.
So SO sorry about the delay in the awards, I just couldn't get them to work and then real life is stupid and kept getting in the way, grr! Anyway, enough of these stupid excuses and lets get to what you have been waiting for!!
So I decided that since almost all the entries were from Buffy or Angel, that I would use some season 8 promos on the awards. Also I added in a piece of whatever you made and put it in there because I feel that the awards should represent what you have made and what earned you the award in the first place.
First off, thank you so much for participating it means so much!
THIRD
Spoiler:
I love seeing your art advance each and every post and this is a shining example of it, this piece was done so well and the texturing is great.
SECOND
Spoiler:
So dark miss Dana and it fits so well! I love that you didn't make it bright that you showed how sorrowful and dark this scene really is, it was a great choice to do.
FIRST
Spoiler:
God Amber I love this piece so freaking much! This moment was so defining for Giles, the choice he made, it really helped set his character, give him some more depth. The grunge of the piece works so well and it flows so well with the box style-ing
