I haven't really talked about House with anybody... I have only started watching it a few months ago. I'm watching it from Finnish TV, so the pace is slow - I have only seen about half of the first season so far.
But I really really enjoy the show, and it's great how it only gets better episode by episode. I usually dislike hospital series because of my nursing background - I've had enough of hospitals, nurses and doctors in real life. But House is very different. I love the strange humour in it, I love the witty and spot-on dialogue. And House himself is even strangely attractive - though he is such a difficult person.
I enjoy the scenes with him and the clinic patients the most - some hilarious, dry comedy there. And since also I have seen those kind of funny/desperate/totally weird patients myself, I can so well relate to the situations there. I wish I could have reacted like House does.
House's team is also interesting and symphatetic. At first I thought Cameron as some kind of "typical" pretty young female doctor, but I have really started relating to her, her emotional problems and uneasiness under the collected and calm exterior. I don't know what to think about her feelings for House though...
Anyway, if someone wants to talk about House with me, that would be cool.

I love House too.. the show not him :-)
I like the sarcasm, the forwardness and the witty dialogues in it. I saw ER in the past but I prefer House since I think that it is in this show that you can find the real attitude that doctors and staff have with patients.

It is, but of course the real medical/nursing staff can't express that attitude like House does - or they'd be unemployed soon enough.
I just wish House (well, Hugh Laurie) would have his real British accent. I just love to listen to British accents (Wesley, Spike etc. ).
But it's House night tonight, yay! _________________ Avatar by Vampkiss

You are right of course. If you aren't a genius like he is... well fired could be the only word coming from the manager's mouth
Sadly here the show is dubbed like it was Btvs, but I can see your point, once I watched an Btvs episode in its original language and i was so "ahhhh" "ohhhh" listening to Spike!
I had my House fill yesterday instead :-)

I love House. We've bought season 1 and will buy season 2 when its out. I love Hugh Laurie's portrayal of Dr House, and I love Dr House Its the cast that make this show imo, they work well together and the cases are usually interesting.
Who thinks Cuddy and House should hook up? _________________

I AM IN LOVE WITH HOUSE!!!
was I loud?! sorry
I absolutely love House, the whole cast is awesome. One of the bestest Medical shows that i appreciate and love so much!!!
I love the irony, the sarcasm, the enigmatic personality he hides, the sexual tensions.. Everything about it is wonderful.
It's amazing how different the "House" character and Hugh Laurie who plays him are. THey are complete opposites. I saw him on Saturday Night Live, and he was so funny, so cool and sweet and nice, it's like being in the Dr. Jekkyl and Mr. Hyde twilight zone. He's a great actor and Season 3 is absolutely phenomenol. _________________

I love this show. Seriously. Hugh Laurie is simply brilliant, though I would rather die than appoint him as my doctor.
The series is formulaic but I think House alone makes you want to come back every week and watch the show. He makes all the other characters look tremendously pale in comparison, but they're good in their roles too. I love, love, love Cuddy and House's interactions. Of all the characters, Wilson is the most dull, in my opinion.
I've just finished watching my S1 DVDs and cannot wait to buy Season 2 next week. Was supposed to go out and get it today but laziness ensued... I hope Season 3 will come out soon too. I finished watching S1 in just two days and I know I'm going to crave for my House-fix after I'm done with S2 as well.
