Well, this is certainly much better than the first issue. Pretty disappointed that not much light is shed on the whole Buffy/Dawn/Giant!Dawn problem but I saw the cover for issue 4 and it looks like that problem would be tackled then.
The plot is much more interesting in this episode. The whole "Buffy in a deep sleep and can only be awaken by a kiss from a true love" story is an interesting concept, especially since Buffy doesn't have a true love in her life at the moment. I wonder where Joss is going with this. However, with the dream that Buffy had about Xander, you kinda can guess that this true love might be Xander.
Which brings me to my next point. I don't like Xander and Buffy hooking up. Yes, it's only a dream, but I feel that it came a few years too late.
There were never any feelings towards Xander and Buffy did reject Xander so I don't understand why she's dreaming about him that way. As for Xander, he clearly moved on with Anya. Maybe there are lingering feelings, maybe, but I don't think there's enough for Xander to go and try his luck with Buffy again.
I thought them hooking up was a neat (and cute) idea in season 7 but now? Not so much. After thinking about it, I realised that it would be very out of character for them to do so. I like their brother/siser relationship and I hate to see it get ruined. So I hope it doesn't happen.
Now, who do you think was that mysterious man in Buffy's dream? Everyone's thoughts are running wild thinking that it's Spike (or maybe Angel). I hope it's none of them as we've already been there before. I'm hoping it's someone completely different, just to make the plot even more interesting.
I can't wait for the third issue to come out to see how it all ends (if it does anyway).

Just finished to read the second issue and I have to say that buffy dream about Xander made me think about Buffybot (Xander losing his head), her time having sex with Spike( I can be gentle this time) and the implicit hint that this isn't the first time that she could had sex with Xander (her speech before to enter in her room).. interesting.
I am not against Buffy Xander together. Anya is dead and Xander have to move on, Buffy used men early so I can see her using Xander too since she miss sex like she told in the first issue, anyway I don't think Buffy's true love is Xander.
I am thinking more about Riley and even Giles, but Riley is my best bet for now.
The man in her nightmare give me feelings that it was Angel. This only based on his body buiding though so it could easily Spike instead.
Willow returning made my day even if her draw let a bit to desire for me.
Just hope once again that Kennedy is dead.

| I think there's something off about this whe true love thing. Why does Amy tell Xander about the way to get Buffy to wake up? I guess it's a trap of some sort.

You could be right of course since she is the enemy but I think we shouldn't forget that she is at least a "bit" crazy so she could be not so much coerent about it.
And what you guys think about the simbol? Am I the only one thinking that it means the Sunnydale crater turned upside down?
I think too that the little star under the "smirk" like Xander calls it, it's the place where something or someone is trapped.
Am I crazy like Amy too?

| I'm a bit skeptical about bringing the government in again. After season 4, I don't see this going well. Hopfully, they don't go down that road again.

Yes, I'm not too big a fan of the government involvement either. That's one of the main reasons I don't like Season 4 as much as the other seasons. However, I think having the government involved gives us a chance of seeing Riley come back, hopefully, a little multi-layered this time, lol.
I have no idea what the symbol can be! I hope it's a clue to who the Big Bad might be.

Well, if bringing back the government means bringing back Riley, I'm all up for it.
I miss Riley and it would be really nice to see him again, esp after what has happened. Would love to see what he has been up too.
Who knows. Maybe he'll show up with a kid in tow.

It would be the best thing ever if he has a kid now! I would die to see Buffy's reaction. The thing that I hated the most about the Buffy/Angel run was that we never got to see Buffy meet Connor. I truly would have wanted nothing more!
