What was your reaction to this event? When Andrew stands up to Angel in the end of Destiny and tells him that Dana is a slayer, which means she's his, not Angels'. At first I just didn't really believe him but during that scene I changed my mind. He really had a point and it really was looking bad when standing on the outside looking at Angel and his crew and where they were in that season. working for W&H. Even if he had it to controll the LA branch.. still didn't look very good.
I liked that we finally got to see Andrew grow up and stand up like a man and taking responsibility and his work serious. It wasn't very fun when Angel says 'I'll just clear this with Buffy' and Andrew respons 'Who do you think gave the order?'. I think this moment really woke Angel up, he wasn't doing much good as of late and it was time to start working on things.
It was also great to see Spike appreciate Andrews actions, that he thought it was great for Andrew because it ment he'd finally grown up..

OOH I KNOW. I always thought Andrew was sort of a meh character, and didn't truly begin to love and appreciate him until I rewtached season 7. But, I prefer Watcher in Training Andrew, he's still a bafoon, but he's come a long way. One of my favorite scenes of all time is when he leaves with the two girls in "The Girl in Question." and notes how people change. I like that Spike and Angel had something to learn from silly old Andrew. It shows how often we forget that just because they are old doesn't mean they have it all figured out. _________________

I think it was along way for Andrew to change in just one year, so it seemed a lil' OOC for me personally. It makes me think about what could have possibly happened to change him that much *ponders*.
I agree with Dana, the Buffy references weren't super fun from a bangel perspective. Still, it was good to see Andrew with such initiative, and such confidence, especially after the events of Storyteller. _________________

I have a hard time not loving all the characters ( lol ), and Andrew's no exception. He's been one of my faves since they introduced him. I haven't actually seen most of season 5 of Angel ( I ended up working two jobs that year and I haven't gotten my butt in gear since to get the DVDs lol ), so I can't comment on everything that happened yet. Thank the gods for Netflix! lol
